On the occasion of Biennale Interieur, a prestigious design event that takes place in Kortrijk, Belgium and it’s dedicated to contemporary forms and creativity, the renowned bathroom brand, Laufen Bathrooms presented a wide variety of bathroom projects, from the Val bathroom collection by Konstantin Grcic to the elegant line of washbasins Sonar by Patricia Urquiola as well as the latest Cleanet Riva range designed by Peter Wirz. Today, Luxury Bathrooms will focus on the latter, which essentially offers a new vision regarding how shower toilets should be.
The bathroom specialist has developed a product that defines design, comfort and hygiene holistically for the first time. The toilet’s great popularity proves that Laufen has chosen the right path in this. Laufen is now expanding the Cleanet Riva range with a new
colour version, two new smartphone apps and a specific version for hotels and the semi-public sector.
Matte-white colours are the height of fashion for bathrooms. As a result, Laufen now also offers its popular Cleanet Riva shower toilet with an elegant, matte-white ceramic surface. That allows the shower toilet to be combined perfectly with other matte-white ceramics by Laufen, and also creates a cohesive design with other matte surfaces in the bathroom.
Shower toilets must be simple and intuitive to use – complexity and hygiene are mutually exclusive. That is why the most important functions of the Cleanet Riva can be controlled via the ergonomic rotary control at the side, while the remote control provides other functions intuitively via a touchscreen.
