Aesthetics, comfort, water-saving, hygiene and improvement of the productivity of the installers are at the heart of the innovations presented by the industrialists of the bathroom design and rewarded on Idéobain 2019.
Several bathroom manufacturers have indeed designed their offers with particular care and the desire to tick all the good boxes: the five above, plus recyclability, environmental protection, and ease of use for the end customer. Eighteen competitors participated in the Idéobain 2019 Innovation Awards. Eight were nominated and three winners. The prizes will be officially awarded to the winners on Tuesday, November 5th at the Batimat Architecture Forum (Hall 5A).
Jacob Delafon – Kohler
The bathroom brand was rewarded for its innovative installation system, also known as 5/35, which consists of a single-lever basin mixer taps on the throat. 5/35 ” means 5 steps and installation of the mixer in 35 seconds.
Roca
The bathroom design brand was recognized by its famous “Cratos” project, a new shower tray in Senceramic. It is a ceramic with a specific enameling process that gives it a textured surface. Applied to shower trays, this produces surfaces offering excellent resistance to slipperiness and are available in 180 cm x 70/80/90 cm and cut to size.
Prevex
The famous brand was one of Idéobain’s Innovation Awards‘ winners thanks to their Preloc Multivalve, a universal siphon for sinks and basins, with or without overflow, adjustable in height and depth. It is equally suitable for washbasins, hanging or pedestal sinks. The idea of Prevex is to offer a single reference to installers, but also to wholesalers, assuring them that the product will adapt to all situations.
