This incredible design event will show you the latest bathroom trends and the best bathroom vanities for your design project! For this year themed exhibition the Cersaie‘s organization team has decided to choose some of the best personalities in the celebrity world, that have stood out in their various fields (art, culture, science, music or cinema), to be the main inspiration sources for creative bathroom projects. Besides the incredible stands, the inspiring bathroom design event will be also featuring some bespoke conferences with distinguished personalities. Since the Luxury Bathrooms team wants you to have the best time at Cersaie 2019, here are our five conferences choices that you must attend:
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
Felipe Assadi
Location: Galleria dell’Architettura – Gall. 21/22 | Time: 10.30 am
Born in 1971, Felipe Assadi is a young architect born in Santiago de Chile. A graduate of the Finis Terrae University, he earned a Masters in Architecture from the Catholic University of Chile. In 1999, he received the “Young Promotion Award” from the Chilean Architects Association, awarded to the best architect under 35 years.
Anupama Kundoo
Location: Galleria dell’Architettura – Gall. 21/22 | Time: 4.00 pm
Founded in 1990, the architectural firm of Anupama Kundoo has always shown a strong focus on research and experimentation on materials in favor of architecture with low environmental impact and suitable for the socio-economic context. Kundoo is currently working on a solo show at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art scheduled for 2020.

Jakob & Macfarlane
Location: Galleria dell’Architettura – Gall. 21/22 | Time: 10.30 am
What Jakob & Macfarlane is a structured study, since the early projects, like an experimental architectural workshop, focused on environmental transition and digital culture. Their interest focuses on social, programmatic and urban innovations, combined with a great passion for construction, manifested in projects such as the Orange Cube in Lyon and the Center Frac in Orléans.
“Green Prophecy” – “Birth”
Location: Galleria dell’Architettura – Gall. 21/22 | Time: 4.00 pm
The talking will be:
- Emilio Ambasz, Argentine architect and designer pioneer of “green” architecture.
- Attilio Stocchi, a Milanese architect whose design activity ranges from open spaces to the metamorphosis of monuments, from places for art to environmental systems, from installations to installations.
- Fulvio Irace, architect and professor of Polytechnic Architecture History of Milan.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 2019
Sacred Spaces: The San Cataldo cemetery by Aldo Rossi and Gianni Braghieri
Location: Galleria dell’Architettura – Gall. 21/22 | Time: 2.30 pm
The conference will be held by Alberto Perlenga, architect and rector since 2015 of the Iuav University of Venice, of which he was previously Director of the Doctoral School and full professor of Architectural Design at the same University.
