Discover The Winners Of ISH Frankfurt “Design Plus” Competition – From 11th to 15th of March visit the winners of the event’s incredible design contest at the Foyer of Hall 4.2. The formal awards ceremony will take place on the opening day of the trade fair at 2 p.m. All of these design products combine innovative technology with incredible design. In case you haven’t heard about this amazing design contest, the Luxury Bathrooms team is going to tell you all about it!
The ISH Frankfurt “Design Plus” competition consist one a dynamic initiative that helps people orientate themselves amidst this huge range of high-quality bathroom products. The prize-winning designs combine intelligent technology and high functionality with incredible modern aesthetics and craftsman-like precision. These incredible bathroom design selection set standards for sustainability, energy efficiency and the sparing use of natural resources.
This year, the five experts jury had to analyse a total of 161 submissions according to the following criteria: quality of design, overall concept, innovative content and choice of materials in terms of both technological and ecological aspects. In the end, the expert jury selected 37 products to receive the “Design Plus powered by ISH” awards, a competition organized on behalf of Messe Frankfurt.
“With this competition, ISHoffers the sector’s innovators an internationally recognized platform at the highest level, setting the tone and providing stimulus for continued development in the sector”, explains the managing director of the German Design Council, Lutz Dietzold. From the 37 winning product designs, 18 go to German companies and product designers. The other 19 awards were assigned to international companies from multiple countries, such as Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United States of America.
“Successful design is the motor for successful brand management and is a powerful marketing tool for creating and improving sales opportunities. It is a way for manufacturers to distinguish themselves from their competitors and present themselves, their products and services in all their individual uniqueness, ” explains Lutz Dietzold.
In the Bathroom design category, the incredible jury selected some innovative WCs and multifunctional shower cubicles, as well as individual items of bathroom furniture, like vanity units, mixer taps, and fittings.
