After the success of the Dim Sum exhibit at Milan Design Week, Kartell by Laufen returns in action by presenting for the first time one of the most astounding museum-like installations for the prestigious London Design Festival. This installation will promote research and innovation like no other and it will take place in Kartell’s Flagship store at 223 Brompton Road in Chelsea. The exhibit will be signed by the iconic duo, Ludovica + Roberto Palomba.
Kartell’s London flagship store will have a unique atmosphere where the bathroom will become a space of expression where each and every detail has been done with maximum precision and refinement, thus being able to offer diverse and customizable solutions.
The museum-like installation will take you an engaging and exploratory adventure that will give a whole new perspective on washbasins in regards to ways of innovating one’s bathroom set. This emotive exhibit will have a sort of “East meets West” theme to it that is bound to make quite the impact.
The showroom will be divided into two areas, one more related to tableware and other to bathrooms, both inspired by the Chinese “dim sum” concept. The part dedicated to the bathroom will allow visitors to be fully immersed in the Kartell by Laufen bathroom experience. Ludovica + Roberto Palomba created a series of designs of free-standing washbasins, the new bathtub with round shape and fine accessories in the latest shades of green and pink, all of which feature iconic forms.
“A new interpretation of the needs of modern everyday life, where the relationship among domestic environment and bathroom focuses on aspects linked not only to the functional dimension but also to the emotional sphere. A rediscovery of the personal wellbeing and care for the body, in perfect Kartell by Laufen style.”
