Mario Ferrarini was the mastermind behind the new washbasin design of Antonio Lupi’s collection, also known as Breccia. With the mission to reinvent the conventional drain, the design project is marked by its unique personality that is enhanced by the light and evident groove on the surface. The Luxury Bathrooms team is going to let you know more about this incredible washbasin design with the hope to give you the right inspirational design ideas for your next bathroom design project!
Breccia is a surface with a round washbasin integrated in Flumood, that is characterized by its simple aesthetic. The innovative washbasin design features some detail that might seem pointless at first sight, but can really make the difference in our daily routine! It is an aesthetic detail that satisfies a fundamental functional need and at the same time becomes the distinctive touch of the bathroom project.
This innovative washbasin reinvents the classic standard drain into something quite futuristic. The simple (almost invisible) cut allows the water to flow without and prevents the excess of water waste. As you can see in the closeup photos of the design project, the water drain features a minimalistic slot that connects a central hole with the perimeter from the modern sink.
The modern washbasin can be custom made to measure and as you can see in the images its particularity lies in how drainage has developed, a constant topic of research and research by Antonio Lupi. We can say that the luxury bathroom brand is the first one to eliminate the traditional installation of waste and create an elegant washbasin solution with a modern design by Mario Ferrarini.
