The following stunning triplex apartment in Prague was the creative work of Lenka Míková and Markéta Bromová which was inspired by American mid-century interiors as requested by the clients. Completed in 2015, this fresh interior design plays with rich textures and colors that make it simply unique. While all the divisions are excellent when it comes to decor, in this article, the Luxury Bathrooms blog will focus mainly on the remarkable mid-century bathrooms, so take a look.

In order to attend the needs and desires of the clients, Míková and Bromová followed a design approach of keeping the interiors clean and simple in shapes, while emphasizing on the surfaces. They also minimized all details and technical fittings so as to enhance the natural textures and decor of the materials.

Each bathroom has a different surface giving it a sense of uniqueness and visual appeal. Wooden surface of natural oak veneer was one of the main choices. These multi-layered and eclectic bathrooms are further enhanced by the presence of custom-made elements.

When it comes to tiles, the master bathroom features hexagonal black tiles with brass handles whereas the kid’s bathroom has a more playful tone it thanks to colorful patterns.

The combination of tiles and wooden furniture, as well as aged brass fittings, completely transform these bathroom sets. Everything is complimentary!

Furthermore, the massive floor-to-ceiling doors, the juxtaposition of white surfaces and large wooden claddings, among many other enticing design features, make this apartment a prime example of the elegance and timeless of Czech design and of how contemporaneity can be blended with other styles such as mid-century.
