AD Intérieurs 2019, organized by Architectural Digest France, arrived at the incredible Hôtel de Coulanges to present all the best of contemporary design inspirations. Inspired by this year’s big theme of impermanence, top architects and modern interior designers explore with imagination the “Metamorphoses” concept highlighting the best of craftsmanship.
The tenth edition of AD Intérieurs 2019 was all about the best luxury furniture, rich textiles, stunning finishes and delicate lighting designs that highlighted the beauty of incredible craftsmanship skills. Besides the incredible living ambiances, there were two design duos that decided to create unique bathroom designs with an eclectic feel. Are you ready to be inspired?
Humbert & Poyet
Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet are two design and fashion enthusiasts decided to pool their skills to provide a full range of services from construction to interior design. The founders of Humbert & Poyet design studio, create unique design projects focused on elegant and meticulous designs to create timeless spaces using premium materials such as stone, wood, and bronze.
With arc-shaped niches, benches, and washbasins, this symmetrical modern bathroom is reminiscent of Palladian villas as well as Art Deco palaces.
The green marble monolith bath and the sculptural brass shower-cage breathe strength and vigor into this bathroom space designed by Humbert & Poyet, a design firm that builds unique spaces with theatrical elements.

Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay
Charlotte and Hugo are part of a new generation of interior designers who we will be following closely in the coming years. With boutique hotels and private luxury apartments in their incredible portfolio, the inspiring interior designers are beginning to develop a clientele and a distinctive style characterized by white backdrops, and a predilection for quality materials such as marble, brass and leather.
Lacing bridges between East and West, Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay build a quiet modern bathroom, such a calm and serene space with a red marble bathtub, a sculptural basin, and fine art pieces.
Just like their famous sophisticated interior design projects, the young interior designers created this incredible electric bathroom space, at AD Intérieurs 2019, by using natural materials, like wood and marble, in neutral color tones.
