Paris Déco Off will introduce the most recent advances in world design for 2023 on January 18. About 100 textile, wallpaper, trim, and other product designers from around the world were invited to set up shop in the heart of Paris for the thirteenth edition under the themes of art and culture with a focus on sustainability. Five days of friendly discovery and exchange are planned at the several showrooms and pop-ups in Saint-Germain-des-Prés on the Left Bank, as well as at Rue du Mail and Place des Victoires on the Right Bank.
International Home Decor Event: Paris Déco Off
The event is anticipated to draw 40,000 attendees, including both business insiders and members of the general public, with 2/3 of them coming from outside the country. While strolling through the French capital’s historic area, which blends great craftsmanship and genuinely free creativity, they will see the best pieces of art for 2023. Each iteration of the event offers a chance to envision future design through breath-taking installations that consistently push the limits of home décor as proven by the participants’ creations. This year is no exception, as Ecart International’s large furniture will exhibit a bombastic exhibition of technological prowess and elegance, as seen in the business’s new outdoor fabrics.
The participating companies in the Paris Déco Off will improve their external window displays for the Festival of Fabrics in conjunction with this presentation by covering them in ornate hangings, wallpaper, and curtains. The numerous gigantic lamps that have been the glittering symbol of Paris Déco Off for thirteen years will be returned to create the atmosphere of an opulent outdoor interior on the city’s streets.
Additionally, Thebrands’ innovations will be displayed in an installation titled Cardboard outside the Box at Paris Déco Home, a celebration of many styles of décor (including furniture, lighting, tableware, and more). Interior designer and artistic director Alice Forest will construct a bedroom and a living room inside transparent bubbles. An artist from Les Ateliers du Carton named Emmanuelle Zarée will adorn the spaces with cardboard objects. Inside, a variety of 2023 releases from Paris Déco Off rivals will produce a vibrant display of timeless modern technology.
