“The bathroom is my favourite living space in the house, the place where I like to relax after a long day of work I enjoy refined bathrooms that combine materials such as marble, glass, brass and bronze.” – Stéphanie Coutas
This unique collection was inspired by the of transformation. Coutas and THG Paris are experts in using raw materials such as brass and marble to truly create the best bathroom set possible. Taking into consideration the traditions of French Luxury, Coutas was able to create these materials into contemporary objects of decor and design.
Beauty and functionality merge majestically in this collection that sheds a light on French marble that has been long perfect by French artisans and craftsmen. The Montaigne collection sheds light on French marble enhanced by French artisans: Grand Antique marble, Leonardo Grey marble and White Venus marble.
“My signature is probably the profusion of details, steles to enhance beautiful objects and alcoves to stage props like in a luxury spa; but mostly, the presence of exceptional marble slabs,” enlightened Coutas when asked by THG Paris what is her signature for an elegant bathroom.
Above, you can find one of the bathroom sets designed by Coutas that is a true epitome of the French art of living and Parisian elegance. The designer actually placed many of her own designs, including the massive Paris chandelier (which she designed for Baccarat), the Elipse wall lights as well as the Taï Ping rug, providing a few touches of boudoir intimacy. Lastly, THG Paris developed the oval-shaped Mineral Stone bathtub which quickly makes quite the statement in this bathroom set due to its Grand Antique marble base.
