From September 23rd to September 28th, the incredible Bologna Design Week 2019 officially opens the call to designers, architects, designers, companies, showrooms, art galleries eager to be protagonists during one of the most important design events in Italy and Architecture. Thousands of visitors, hundreds of events and private and institutional partners of extraordinary prestige for a creative platform open to the public and sector insiders, with a view to collaborating and achieving increasingly ambitious productive and cultural results.
Cersaie 2019

Hosted in Bologna (Italy) this is one of the most expected design events among the bathroom design lovers because it is the place where you’ll find the best bathroom design solutions to create your projects. Also known as theInternational Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings is everything you need to get you started on your trendy bathroom decor. The latest bathroom design trends will be presented in eighteen pavilions in which to touch the entire range of products in the sector: large ceramic slabs, tiles in every format, wallpapers, wooden floors, bathroom furnishings, showers, saunas, bathtubs, taps, and designer bathroom fixtures. So remember, from September 23rd to the 27th, all roads lead to Bologna!
Design Night – The long Night of Cersaie

Organized in collaboration with Confcommercio Ascom Bologna, the “Design Night – The long night of Cersaie”, like previous editions, wants to combine and enhance the cultural, productive, distribution and creative excellence of the territory. Shops, restaurants, design showrooms, and galleries will turn into rooms of wonders, welcoming and involving up to at 24:00 the audience of Cersaie, city users and participants with new itineraries and extraordinary openings.
Immutea1919
When: September 26th
Dedicated to the 100 years of the Bauhaus, this artistic event was designed to highlight the contamination that existed between the various artistic disciplines in the period in question, combining music, theater, dance and scenography inspired by its shapes and colors. Created by Giambattista Giocoli, director of the Teatro del Baraccano in Bologna, the artistic performance intends to pay tribute to the movement that since the early 1900s has largely influenced all artistic and cultural forms, allowing our city to become part of the international circuit of the rich program of events dedicated to Bauhaus this year around the world .
Le Nouvel Esprit des Couleurs Selon Le Corbusier
When: September 23rd to the 27th
Realized by the ceramic company of Faenza Gigacer under the patronage of Les Couleurs Le Corbusier, the exhibition is a reflection on the sense of color in Le Corbusier, a master who measured the relationship of colors in relation to the emotions he wanted to arouse in users in different areas and spaces within its habitation units. This incredible exhibition will be hosted at an exact duplicate of the temporary Pavilion conceived by Le Corbusier in Paris in 1925, and faithfully reconstructed in Bologna in 1977.
Koolhaas Houselife: opening BDW in Film Library
When: September 23th
The long footage that will officially open the fifth edition of Bologna Design Week 2019, is an unmissable opportunity to enter the daily intimacy of the home through the stories and work of the maid Guadalupe Acedo and of those who with her take care. The screening of the film is dedicated to those who did not see it on the big screen when it was presented at the Venice Biennale.
