AD Show, also known as Architectural Digest Design Show, is an annual design show filled to the brim with inspiration for those of you who are passionate about interior design and home decor. This stupendous display of carefully curated design will be set in New York, on Pier 94, from March 19 to March 22, 2020.
Presented by the immensely renowned Architectural Digest, the AD Show allows global, established leading brands, along with new top independent talents, to showcase their outstanding design – from furniture, accessories, lighting, art, kitchen, bath and hospitality projects, the show unveils a plethora of home products to source and shop from over 400 brands. Truly making justice to its commitment to offer “countless ways to celebrate design”, the AD Show also bestows inspirational vignettes by esteemed brands, design seminars, culinary demonstrations and special appearances.
All being said and done, what sets the AD Show apart from other tradeshows? Well, everything the AD Show has to offer. The AD Show is divided into a set of featured areas, all of them revealing a world of inspiration and new decor ideas. The areas are categorized as follows:
Furnish is a section of the AD Show where “the finest home-furniture brands, designers, and dealers from around the world” showcase their most recent design pieces. Among these pieces, you’ll be able to find some interior design essentials such as contemporary and classic furniture, lighting, carpets and rugs, home accessories, textiles, art, and more.
Made is essentially a set of galleries that brings together over 160 artists and designers, including both local, up and coming artisans and international studios, that aims to showcase original art, fine furniture, sculpture, textiles and lighting – all available for purchase. This area of the AD Show is a must-visit for those who have a soft spot for contemporary art.
Refresh, a segment of the AD Show, is one of the largest collections of luxury bathroom and kitchen appliances in North America, gathering exquisite products from over 100 companies. Among these products, you’ll find the latest innovations in home goods such as ovens, cooktops, bath (our personal favourite), cabinetry, tile surfaces and much, much more.
The last, but certainly not least, of our AD Show highlights are the Shops. These boutique retailers will supply you with all the décor, gifts, food, stationery and home accessories you could ever need!
